In the research for dental care researchers use three type of chemical to keep the brush clear. Some used Listerine, some used Peridex and some used Violight. Surprisingly the results of the tests showed all equal in nature. The Listerine, the Peridex both killed almost 98-99% of bacteria inside as well as the Violight did.
At last we can say for better dental care toothbrush should be sanitized in a proper manner after each use, and they allowed it for air dry. Never keep the brush in a drawer, or in a cover that may trap bacteria inside. And it is unnecessary to keep the brush for hours in an antibacterial rinse rather 10 minutes is enough for this job and then let it air dry. For better dental care doctors or dentists advice whether you use a manual or electronic toothbrush, you should change the brush every three months or so to keep that smile white and healthy. Last but not least, in this concern never brush your teeth with others toothbrush. There is a strong chance of transferring of germs from one mouth to another whether it will be within family or friends. Always make the brush air dry.
